Torch corals are arguably one of the most popular corals in the hobby today. They prefer low to moderate lighting and water flow and should be placed somewhere in the middle of the tank. Of course, you should always maintain proper water parameters by maintaining good calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity levels.
Be careful when placing them though because they have very long tentacles that contain stinging cells and can attack neighboring corals, causing damage, and in severe cases, kill other corals.

Torches are mainly photosynthetic, relying on the products of their zooxanthellae, but they should also be fed phytoplankton and zooplankton as well as other products like Coral Feast, Reef Energy, and LPS pellets.
