Maxi-Mini Carpet Anemones do not get nearly as large as their relatives do. They stay smaller and only reach around 4-6 inches in diameter. They are very easy to keep for the most part and like lower to medium light and moderate to strong water flow.
They are generally found in the bottom of the tank, where the sand meets the base rock, but do have the ability to move or "walk" around the tank to find their preferred place and any other sessile inverts and/or corals in their path are at risk.
It is recommended to move or relocate those items immediately or they may get stung, recede, and potentially die. Offer chunky, meaty items to these anemones such as whole pieces of krill and silversides.
It is possible for a Maxi-Mini Anemone to host clownfish, although, the interaction is very uncommon.
