Leptoseris is an easy to keep encrusting coral, likes moderate lighting and low to moderate flow. Generally, this coral should be place somewhere in the middle to lower half of the tank but be sure to give it some space from other corals because it can grow extremely fast.
Leptoseris is available in several different colors, and some of the most popular are bright orange and yellow. They contain a high amount of fluorescence and really "glow" under heavy actinic lighting, making them very popular in the aquarium hobby.
Leptoseris are mainly photosynthetic, relying on the products of their zooxanthellae, but they should also be fed phytoplankton and zooplankton and mysis shrimp, as well as other products like Coral Feast and Reef Energy Of course, you should always maintain proper water parameters by maintaining good calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity levels.
