Psammocora corals are another easy to keep coral that prefer moderate to high lighting and flow and are typically found in the middle of the aquarium. They are a very underrated coral in our hobby, which is surprising because there is a wide variety of colors available. 
Most species are known to be encrusting, but there is a branching species that offers quite a unique growth pattern and look in the tank. From a distance, these corals appear to have a very velvet-like appearance.
Although Psammocora corals are mainly photosynthetic, relying on the products of their zooxanthellae, they should also be fed phytoplankton, zooplankton, as well as other products like Coral Feast and Reef Energy or other amino acids and probiotics. Of course, you should always maintain proper water parameters by maintaining good calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity levels.
