Long Description: Sun Corals are definitely not for the beginner hobbyist! They are non-photosynthetic, meaning they need to be target fed multiple times a week, if not daily, in order for them to grow and not wither away and die.
They prefer very low light and low waterflow, meaning they should be placed down low in the aquarium in a shaded area with indirect lighting. Although they are a challenging coral to keep, many hobbyists still desire them due to their amazingly bright and bold colorations of orange, yellow, red, and sometimes even black.
Having polyps that get fairly large, makes them easier to feed, and enjoy eating mysis shrimp, ground krill, and LPS pellets.
